Well-patient check-ups

Our main emphasis in small animal care is preventative care. This means that we want to see your pets at least annually to perform a complete physical exam and encourage everyone to keep their pets on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives year-round.

In-house Laboratory Testing

We have the ability to perform in-house urinalysis assessment, complete blood counts, thyroid panels, pre-anesthetic panels, and general chemistry panels. We also have in-house antigen tests for several diseases including heartworm testing.

Emergency Care

We do our best to accomodate after-hours emergencies for our patients whenever possible, but some more critical cases may be refered to Iowa City or the Quad Cities for care. At this time, we are not offering after-hours emergency care for non-clients.

Vaccinations

We follow American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) guidelines for dog and cat vaccinations. We do not carry vaccines for ferrets or other exotics at this time.

Dental Radiography and Services

We obtained a digital dental radiography unit in April of 2018 and all dental procedures receive full intra-oral radiographs to see what's going on under the gingiva.

    Prescription Diets

We carry several Royal Canin Veterinary diets as     well as special ordering for Royal Canin and Hills     Veterinary diets.

Radiography

We have a digital radiography unit that gives us quick and accurate x-rays if there is ever a need for your pet to have them taken.

Surgical Services

In addition to routine ovariohysterectomy (spay) and castration (neuter) procedures, we are able to perform a variety of soft tissue, dental, and orthopedic procedures.
